I’m new to this. But I thought this would be a good way to get advice. I’m 16 years old. And started doing meth a year back now. And my life has gone downhill since. I just need someone to talk too..

Hi there. New to this group and hoping for quick advice. Yesterday I found out that my best friend has been using almost every day. We spend a lot of time together and I had no idea until they told me. They are willing to sit down and talk to me today and saying they want to get help. My father is an addict and I understand that nothing I say can…[Read more]

Let them know you support them but only in seaking a seice to meth use. Do not give money obviously and if offer a place to stay or any help that way make sure its conditional on them helping them selves. They should seek a professional to talk to…[Read more]

Meth is literally demonic possession. I’ve never been hooked on it, but I have used it on a number of occassions when I was wasted drunk. It caused me to do some really insane, and stupid things, stuff I would never do on any other drug. The first time I did it, I snorted it, while drunk. Then, I felt like a completely different person, and soon I…[Read more]

Been an addict off and on for 7 years. Hit rock bottom a year and a half ago after becoming homeless and watching 2 of my good friends commit suicide because of meth. I’m 28 years old now. I’m doing much better. Im getting married and very happy but every couple weeks I still end up relapsing. I don’t want to anymore and looking/willing to do…[Read more]

A little background: I drank alcohol as a teenager in high school, quit for 9 years and started up again after a stressful chapter in my life. I was a straight up stickler for not breaking the law…and hey, alcohol is legal. Fast forward to getting married and divorced. A painful, rip the heart out of chest, divorce. My mom had this neighbor…[Read more]

There was a girl I used to smoke with(a few times) she was 18 and I was 17 then , one day she begged me to buy for her a gram and I did not help her , the next moment she was in the hospital (her body became weak and she fainted in public ). Does Tina affect girls differently? or worse?

    • I found i ate and slept alot less then my man when we did it. Maybe she went long w out eating n sleeping that caused her to faint.. Glad u didnt get it for her..

          • Its like accepting someone u can still see, died. Its heart wrenching. And its crazy cus its not his fault. Meth grabs on and doesnt let go. It tricks ur brain. Makes u believe u actually need it to survive. It takes over the primitive part of the brain 🙁

Had 30 days sober today and relapsed going to start going to more meetings ig anyone else have other suggestions?

    • Meetings, keep your days full and know that it gets easier with time.

    • You were clean for a month, you got through it once and you can do it again. Definitely go to meetings and try to make friends with other addicts in recovery or those with the same goals as you. Don’t be afraid to reach out to people if you feel you are struggling. It’s natural to want to keep it all inside but know that if anything, we are her…[Read more]

Hi everyone. My husband has been struggling with meth addiction for 4 years now. I’m just looking to connect with other loved ones of meth addicts or meth addicts in recovery. Anybody who has advice or just knows what I’m going thru. I feel very alone in this as I don’t use any drugs and nobody else I know uses.

    • Welcome 🙂! Let us know if you have any questions.

    • There’s very little anyone can do. I don’t help addicts, at best I educate them by answering questions where I relate my experience to theirs but at the end of the day they have to be willing to do whatever it takes to be sober. Want only got me so far, I had to be honest, openminded, and willing. It is a false hope to think I can inspire…[Read more]

          • I rarely am on anything. Yes because i dint want to develop an addiction where i wasnt in control of it. I make myself go completely clean for 7 days every 3wks.
